Great Places Housing Group

“The Hiring Hub website is really easy to use and intuitive. It works really fast too; we filled our vacancy in two weeks.” Allison Donachie, Business Systems Product Manager

Great Places Housing Group is a social housing association that provides affordable homes and housing services across the northwest of England. Business Systems Product Manager Allison Donachie originally used Hiring-Hub.com in May 2013 to fill a specialist ASP .Net Software Developer vacancy that she had been struggling to fill.

“I used Hiring-Hub to fill a specialist Software Developer role as we’d tried advertising it through the normal channels and we simply couldn’t find the candidates we were looking for.

“The Hiring Hub website was very easy to use, it was intuitive and structured really well, so navigating it was simple as it was clear what you needed to do. I liked it because everything is there, in one place in the cloud, so managing the recruitment process is really easy.

“We started seeing results very quickly. I posted a job for an ASP .Net Developer on the Hiring Hub marketplace at lunchtime and by mid-afternoon I had a couple of specialist recruitment agencies interested in working on that vacancy and putting candidates forward. For me, I think the best thing for me about Hiring-Hub is the control it gives you. You get to set the fee upfront, so that’s really clear and transparent – we set the fee at 15%.You also have access to a really wide range of recruitment agencies, so you’re not limited by exclusivity. What’s more, you can decide which recruitment agencies you engage with, so it puts you in complete control of who you work with a how you work with them.

“I would definitely recommend Hiring Hub. You get a dedicated account manager to help if you want help, and you have nothing to lose. It doesn’t cost you anything to post a vacancy… that was our mindset.

“Ultimately we filled what was a very specialist software developer vacancy in just a few weeks, so from that perspective it did everything we had hoped it would.”
