Sunderland striker, Jermain Defoe is looking for an executive assistant to help organise his busy schedule. But it’s not your regular assistant role.
Of course, there are standard responsibilities that you might expect. For example paying bills, keeping the house clean and tidy and organising his diary. Yep, we can cope with that.
There are also a few responsibilities that you might not have expected, but could probably handle with ease – picking his outfits, creating an inventory for his holiday villas and planning “special yearly calendar events”. Whatever that might mean.
But then things start getting a bit weird.
Defoe is also looking for someone who, whilst doing the cooking, cleaning and organising events, will also develop an iPhone app and create a clothing line/fragrance to be sold through his website. Oh, and you’ll need to be available 24/7.
The content of the iPhone app is yet to be revealed. And to be honest we’re struggling to see what would be included? Either way, if he does find a PA/developer/branding manager/fashion designer/perfumer and then creates an app, we’ll be the first to download it and let you know.
Finally, when the lucky candidate isn’t busy watering the plants and keeping the fridge stocked, they’ll also need “create a global brand for the Jermain Defoe name”.
No big deal. Just don’t neglect the chrysanthemums.
