Hiring Hub’s recruitment marketplace was built for in-house recruitment teams seeking greater speed, choice and flexibility in third-party hiring across their organisation.

Hiring Hub has given On the Beach the ability to speed up and simplify their recruitment process by giving them a gateway to a powerful network of rated and reviewed specialist IT recruitment agencies.

We took the hassle out of finding, working, and negotiating with recruiters meaning they discovered top tech talent, faster.

Hiring Hub’s recruitment agency management portal centralises all third-party recruitment activity, including the submission of candidates and their progression through the hiring process.

With permission from candidates, Hiring Hub’s Portal anonymously captured the diversity of applicants for On the Beach and reported across gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, and disability, offering On The Beach insights through each stage of its assessment and selection process, to identify any bias and objectively review its PSL’s performance.

Using this data from its PSL’s candidate submissions, it was able discover which members of its PSL were fishing from more diverse candidate pools so it could: 1) reward and utilise those recruiters more often; and 2) use the data to demonstrate their focus on building a diverse team in encouraging other suppliers to be more thoughtful about candidate submissions.

Portal recruitment agency management portal Furthermore, once they had this data, it meant On The Beach could “test” new recruiters efficiently, onboarding them – quickly and compliantly – for one-off searches. This acceleration in compliant onboarding of new and/or ad hoc suppliers is something that, before Portal, was completely impractical for a large PLC given its typical procurement process took months.
