    How can you help?

    We’re looking for a mid-level frontend developer looking for the next step in their career. You will be instrumental in building and supporting new and existing applications.

    As one of the first members of this team you’ll be helping Hiring Hub decide how and what it builds, and helping to define the team’s ways of working and culture as it grows. You will work collaboratively to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of Hiring Hub’s users; SME employers, small independent recruitment agencies, and you – candidates.

    You’ll be able to contribute to change on the existing technical estate and the architectural decisions that direct the development of the platform moving forwards.

    Who are you and what will you bring?

    •  You’re a passionate front end developer, versed in modern techniques and front end technologies.

    •  You should know your adaptive from your responsive design and your progressive enhancement from your graceful degradation.

    •  You have great working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

    •  You use font awsome (or whatever the latest trending icon pack is) and you’re a stickler for getting things pixel perfect.

    •  You have a good working knowledge of Bootstrap CSS (or a similar CSS framework) and have commercial experience.

    •  You have good knowledge of JQuery (but you probably think its outdated and its time to move on…).

    •  You have experience with at least one modern Javascript library or framework such as React, Angular or similar.

    •  You have knowledge of modern CSS methodologies such as BEM and Atomic Design.

    •  You have experience of consuming and pushing data to REST API’s to build data driven experiences.

    •  You have good working knowledge of trends and UI/UX practises.

    •  Readiness to pick up new skills to allow you to work across the stack and independently (with support when needed).

    •  Experience of working in a commercial environment.

    Nice to have or be able to learn:

    •  Experience of working in an Agile team

    •  Experience with testing your code and using TDD techniques with tools such as Jasime, Mocha, Watir or Capybara

    You will be managing our growing team of Relationship Managers, who’s core focus is to on-board new customers, build strong relationships with our customer base and assist Hiring Hub’s users to find candidates and make placements. In addition, you will contribute to product and team development in a highly collaborative environment.

    Who are you and what will you bring?

    • You’re a passionate individual who enjoys helping customers navigate their way through the recruitment process.
    • You should be friendly and determined, able to demonstrate the value of our marketplace product to new customers.
    • You must be an expert in the recruitment market, having first-hand experience of working with candidates either as an in-house or external recruiter.
    • You will have commercial experience, understanding the importance of key accounts and customer relations.

  • Head of Marketing Manchester | up to £50,000

    We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Marketing to join and lead our fledgling but ambitious team in our Manchester office. The successful marketer will be responsible for suggesting, budgeting, leading, tracking and reporting all marketing activity, with a focus on digital and content.

     

    Reporting to the CEO and working alongside an experienced management team, you will develop and own Hiring Hub’s digital budget and strategy, covering digital advertising, audience building, website optimisation and conversion, automated lead nurture, email marketing, and SEO.

     

    In addition, you will support and direct the content team to ensure delivery of thoughtful and engaging content, collateral for sales and relationship teams, and digital assets, and manage third-party suppliers: media buyers, creative agencies, engineering/developers, etc.

     

    To be considered for this role you should have demonstrable management experience, in addition to knowledge of:

     

    • Natural organic search (SEO)
    • Creating, managing and optimising PPC campaigns
    • Running paid social media activity
    • Website conversion (A/B testing and optimisation)
    • Creating and monitoring landing pages
    • Email marketing
    • CRM ownership and customer segmentation (Hubspot)
    • Marketing automation; qualifying and nurturing leads
    • Analysing and interpreting website usage data and trends to optimise performance
    • Reporting/driving improvements across online metrics (traffic, conversion, CPC, CPA, etc)
