Main responsibilities
As Business Development Manager your primary goals are to convert employer prospects received from the employer SDR Team, from qualified leads to customers through the execution of a free trial, acquiring new business jobs in-line with the company’s targets, budget and business plan.
You will also be responsible for working with the Commercial team to identify a strategic target key account list and prospecting these businesses, running the full 360 sales cycle (with help from the SDR team where necessary), from prospecting through to customer acquisition and them posting role(s) on Hiring Hub’s marketplace.
- Maintain the company’s Hubspot CRM system to allow for accurate data and reporting
- Use data and analytics to monitor and evaluate performance and support decision making; but do not drown in data when gut instinct and doing “the right thing” is often faster and more human
- Act as a role model in putting the customer – and the company’s purpose – at the heart of everything we do
- Work with the commercial team to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Help to maintain a sales and marketing KPI metrics dashboard by ensuring all relevant data is up-to-date
- Provide a focal point for sales within the employer acquisition team; building solid working relationships with your peers across marketing and product/tech
- Maintain a list of strategic target accounts and develop a strategy to prospect these businesses and book meetings with decision makers
- Convert leads provided by the SDR team and marketing into new clients through initial job postings
- Work with the Account Management team to effectively hand-over new clients once they have posted a job
- Seek to establish policies that promote the company’s culture, vision and values
- Qualify leads provided by the Employer SDR team and offer constructive feedback to ensure that the quality of leads submitted stays high
- Work with the Commercial team to provide constant feedback, training and advice to the employer SDR team
